The Moth (1973). Description

France. The 1930s. The main character of the film is a professional thief Henri Chanier. He is considered the best safecracker, that is, a specialist in safes. But one day he was accused of a brutal murder that Shanier did not commit. But he cannot prove his innocence, and the court sentences him to life imprisonment in one of the harshest prisons. She is in French Guiana, and no one has been able to escape from there yet. But Henri is determined to get out from behind bars and find those who framed him. On the way to prison, he met another prisoner, Louis Degas. He was convicted of fraud, but he was sure that sooner or later his wife would be able to arrange an escape. That's why Henri decides to stick with Degas. He becomes his bodyguard in prison in return for promising to take him with him when escaping.<br />

But it wasn't that simple. Degas lost his chance to escape as a result. And Henri decided to act on his own. He's been through a lot over the years in prison. He was bullied by the guards, he quarreled with his cellmates. He came close to death several times, but did not give up thoughts of escape. He even made several unsuccessful attempts. But each time he was caught and returned to prison.<br />
